Why I chose it: I chose this painting because it shows all different kinds of one point perspective. There are buildings, water, boats, and a beautiful sunset.

What attributes I will try to emulate: I will try to emulate the opne point perspective of the water. Usually I would focus on the buildings but the water in this painting is the closet to help me with my project right now.

Something interesting about the author: Was admired for his achievements in landscape paintings.

One Point Perspective #2

Artist: Leonardo Da Vinci

Title: The Last Supper

Media Of Work: Painting

Why I Chose It: I chose this painting because it is a very famous painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and it also shows one point perspective. It is also a religious painting it makes you think a bunch when you look at it.

What attributes I try to emulate: Even though I will never be able to paint like Leonardo Da Vinci, I can still learn from his work. I will try to emulate how he makes the one point perspective.

Something Interesting about the artist: He is one of the most famous artists of all time.

One Point Perspective #1

Artist: Dick Termes

Title: Unknown

Why I Chose It: I chose this painting because I like how the artist made one point perspective through a spherical mirror. This is a really creative painting and it shows different kinds of one point perspective.

What attributes I Try to emulate: I will try to emulate how the artist made the one point perspective so accurate.

Something interesting about the artist: He calls his paintings “tremespheres.”

Pen and Ink Final Copy

I am not pleased at all with this pen and ink project. I need a lot more practice with a quill. Just as I thought it couldn’t get any worse than my last blog picture, I accidently made more ink blots on my paper. I believe if I could do this project again, that I would do a much better job on it. Another thing that I need to work on, is the cross hatching. Overall I do not like my final copy.

 So far my pen and ink is not going so well. I had trouble with the cross hatching and the blots of ink splettering on the page. I will try to make it better.

This was a success because I achieved my goal for this project and it was to make everything easy to see and make them recognizable. I thought that the shadowing of the cloth was going to be the hardest part but I think that I did a good job on that. The thing that I need to work on is trying to get everything on the page. I made them big, but I left out most of the candlestick. Overall I am very please with this still life.
